Q: What do I do if I’ve lost my car keys?
A: Sometimes a key code is available. You will only have access to this code if you are the original buyer of the keys. A professional auto locksmith can help you with this issue.
Q: When do I need to rekey my locks?
A: People generally have a rekey done if they have lost their keys, want to make sure no old or existing keys will work in the lock, or they want to make sure all the locks in their location use the same key. It is also cheaper to rekey a lock than replacing existing locks.
Q: Do I need to rekey my locks, since I am moving into a new house?
A: Absolutely. You never know how many copies of the existing keys are in circulation. Change the locks immediately, and only provide the new keys to people you can trust.
